Agreement to Terms
All inspections and reports are provided strictly in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. No other representations, warranties, or guarantees apply unless expressly stated in writing by us. -
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from or in connection with an inspection or report is limited to the terms set out in our Terms & Conditions. We are not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or financial loss incurred as a result of reliance on the inspection or report. -
Inspection Scope
The inspection is carried out under the limitations, scope, and exclusions described in our Terms & Conditions. It is a visual assessment only and does not involve invasive, destructive, or exhaustive testing. -
Reliance on Report
The inspection report is prepared exclusively for the client named in the Terms & Conditions. It may not be relied upon by any other person, party, or entity without our prior written consent. -
Validity of Report
The inspection report is valid for the period specified in our Terms & Conditions and should not be relied upon beyond that timeframe without commissioning a new inspection. -
No Waiver of Terms
Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to replace, waive, or limit any provision of our Terms & Conditions. In the event of inconsistency, the Terms & Conditions prevail.
Terms & Conditions - The Basics
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our services, including building and pest inspections, pool inspections, strata inspections, and any related services (“Services”). By booking or using our Services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Booking and Payment

Bookings are subject to availability of our inspectors and, where applicable, strata companies.

Payment for inspections must be made in full prior to the delivery of reports unless otherwise agreed.

Additional fees, including strata access fees, may apply and will be communicated prior to booking.
3. Scope of Inspection

Our inspections are limited to accessible areas at the time of inspection.

A pest-only inspection focuses on timber pests and does not cover structural defects.

A building & pest inspection covers both structural defects and timber pests.

Pool inspections cover safety barriers and compliance but not general maintenance or pool functionality.

Strata inspections involve review of strata records but do not guarantee the absence of disputes or future issues.
4. Limitation of Liability

Inspection reports are based on visible and accessible areas only. Hidden or inaccessible defects may not be identified. For a Strata Inspection the report will contain only information provided by the strata manager at the time of the inspection, we are not liable for information withheld or not provided by the Strata Company at the time of the inspection.

Our inspection reports are valid for 90 days from the date of inspection. We are not responsible for providing advice or communication regarding issues identified in the report after this period.

We do not accept liability for any loss, damage, or cost arising from reliance on inspection reports or advice.

Clients should seek further professional advice if required.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations more than 48 hours before the booking may still incur fees, including non-refundable access fees.

We will notify clients of any changes to booking dates or times due to inspector or strata availability.

Should we need to re-inspect a property, further charges may apply

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue an inspection if our inspector feels unsafe, uncomfortable, or misled by any party.
6. Access and Authority

Pool Inspections can only be conducted for the property owner or their authorised representative (e.g., sales agent or solicitor).

If access to the property is not provided at the scheduled date and time due to the responsible party failing to grant access, we cannot be held liable.

Letters of authority may be required to book inspections with strata managers.
7. Privacy

Personal information collected will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell or trade personal information.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will be available on our website.
